Eric Parker has been designing and building enterprise software
systems professionally since 1986. Prior to founding SAND Services, Eric
was Principal Technologist at TruExchange, where he designed their
commodities trading engine. Prior to TruExchange, Eric was CTO at
SportsFutures.com, and Chief Architect at OneSoft.
Prior to his work with startup ventures, Eric did software architecture
and development at Landmark Systems Corporation, Symantec Corporation,
Digital Equipment Corporation, and IBM, focusing on distributed enterprise
software and artificial intelligence applications. In addition to
commodity and derivatives trading, Eric's domain expertise includes expert
systems, project management, enterprise performance monitoring, eCommerce
and internet applications. Eric holds a BS in Computer Science from
Trinity College, and an MS in Computer Science from Northeastern
University.
Steve Magoun has been designing and building enterprise software
systems professionally since 1997. Prior to founding SAND services, Steve
led development of the TruExchange commodities trading engine, designing
the transaction matching, quantity price optimization, and persistency
components. Steve enabled the strategic use of open source tools, and
drove quality reviews, development testing, component integration and build
processing efforts.
Prior to joining TruExchange, Steve worked for Online Development
Corporation, where he expanded an existing analysis application into an
enterprise application. Steve was also a founder of Big Green Web Design,
and has been part of several web application development efforts. Steve
holds a BA in Computer Science from Dartmouth College.
